Billionaire Yuri Milner is one of a select few who call themselves owners of what’s considered to be real estate’s elite: a $100 million home. His 25,000 square-foot Silicon Valley abode once broke the record for the highest-priced single-family home sale in the U.S., and believe it or not, Milner’s residence isn’t the only one. A hilltop estate in Woodside, California once fetched for a staggering $117.5 million, along with financier Gary Winnick’s Casa Encantada Bel Air mansion which reportedly cost a whopping $225 million. There is a grain of truth, however, to be taken with such real estate purchases: ultra-high-end homes like Milner’s can’t be all yours for the asking price alone.
